About Spades
Spades is the classic partnership trick-taking game. You and your AI partner bid how many tricks you'll win, then try to make your contract against two AI opponents — spades are always trump. An AI coach suggests a bid for every hand.
How to play
- Bid how many of the 13 tricks you expect to win; your team's bids form its contract.
- Follow the led suit if you can; otherwise a spade (trump) beats any other suit.
- Spades can't be led until they're broken.
- Make your contract for 10 points per trick bid; each extra trick is a bag, and 10 bags cost 100 points.
- Bid Nil to win no tricks for a 100-point bonus.
